TERMS // CONDITIONS
By submitting payment for a custom commission, the client agrees to the following terms:
OWNERSHIP & COPYRIGHT
The artist retains full copyright and all intellectual property rights to the artwork, including all rights to reproduce, distribute, license, and display the image.
Purchase of the original artwork transfers ownership of the physical piece only. Copyright is not transferred.
PERSONAL USE ONLY
Commissioned artwork is intended for personal enjoyment, display, or gifting. The client may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, or use the artwork for any commercial purpose without prior written permission from the artist.
Commercial licensing may be available for an additional fee upon request.
ARTIST PORTFOLIO & PROMOTIONAL USE
The artist reserves the right to photograph, reproduce, and share the artwork for portfolio, website, publication, exhibition, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the start of the commission.
PAYMENT TERMS
A deposit or first installment is required to reserve the commission and begin work. Final delivery of the artwork is contingent upon full payment.
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
Because commissioned artwork is custom-made, payments are generally non-refundable once work has begun. If a project is canceled before completion, any refund will be determined at the artist’s discretion based on work already completed.
TIMELINE
Estimated completion timelines are provided in good faith but may be subject to minor adjustments due to artistic process, scheduling, or unforeseen circumstances. The artist will communicate promptly regarding any delays.
CREATIVE INTERPRETATION
The artist will use professional judgment and artistic discretion in interpreting the subject and composition. Minor variations from reference photographs are part of the handmade nature of the work.
